REVIEW: Mia Tempo Box + Giveaway Day 2!

I am SOOOO excited to bring you guys this review. I have been waiting awhile to share this with y'all!

I think it would be best to explain a little about Mia Tempo, as it is not your average subscription service.

"Mia Tempo was started with the hope that we could in some small way make a positive difference in the lives of women everywhere.  Our goal is to help women everywhere take a much needed break by letting them experience a little ‘Me-Time’ every month so they can look and feel their best.  This mission is coupled with a passion for all-natural & organic skin care products and at-home spa & beauty treatments and voila!"Mia Tempo

You guys know how I feel about information cards.. I LOVE them! This came in a nice envelope, almost like a card. It had not only just info about what you got, but also a little relaxing routine you could do with what you got! It also shares about how a portion of the proceeds from every box is donated to a non-profit that helps women! Isn't that amazing?!

I recieved two Tea Forte tea bags, as well as a bonus satchet of Apricot Amaretto tea. I am on a HUGE tea kick, so I was super happy to see these! Plus they are ADORABLE.

The next few things I got are from Soothing Botanicals.  They are all in the same scent.  It includes the Amber + Fig scented Dead Sea Bath Soak, Cream Body Scrub, and Deep Moisture Lotion.  This smell isn't horrible, but also isn't my favorite.  I think I need to try them all out before I make my final decision!
You can probably tell from my blog that I LOVE candles. This one is no exception.  It is from a brand called Paddywax, and looks to be part of a Library collection.  I got the scent "Jane Austen." It is a very floral scent, I pick up a lot of Gardenia, but it smells amazing and clean!

The next two things I got were from Wild Carrot Herbals.  I recieved a Wild Rose eye cream, which looks super enticing.  As you can see, there is a package of powder.  It is actually a face mask that you mix "rose honey" & water with.  I don't know how I feel about something that you have to mix something else with, but I'm excited to see how it works. It's a cool idea!

I got a special little gift, which was a facial moisturizer from Green Visions.  Its "Wine and Berries" scented. I love the idea of this, my only worry is the little seeds inside it. I hope those don't transfer to my face! I can't wait to try it out though!

SOOOO many goodies, and the presentation is phenominal! I give this box a total 5/5!

This is 39.95 for one month (Free Shipping.) You get a discount when you buy multiple months.  I do say this is totally worth it, this isn't something full of just sample sizes, you get BIG full size products.

BUT, the exciting news is that I get to host a giveaway for ONE free Mia Tempo box for y'all!

Can't wait to see who wins! You're gonna love it!

REVIEW: Bandelettes

Bandelettes-The sexy way to prevent "Chub Rub."
I'd say pretty much every woman has thighs that touch-if you don't you are either 12, or you might need a sammich.  :)
I'd say the most important thing to ordering these is ordering the correct size. Their sizes range from A (21″ – 22″) to E (29″ – 30″). I should've ordered a size up!
These are actually quite comfy!  I don't know if I am brave enough to let them show-but I am a total dress girl..and I live in Florida. You can ONLY imagine what my thighs go through. UGH.
I have tried everything, nothing powder or cream seemed to work long term for me.
Each pair is only $14.99 and they come in a variety of colors.  I choose black, because it goes with everything.

I HIGHLY suggest these for any dress girls like me, or even if you want to wear them under shorts!

REVIEW: Graze Box

Graze Box is a weekly or bi-weekly subscription that costs $6 per box, with free delivery. (I have a code for my readers where you can try it FREE) Right now, this service is very exclusive, and you have to have an invitation code to try-or be put on a waiting list.  Everytime someone new joins, they get 4 free codes to pass on, creating a chain!  I'm not sure how I feel about this approach, but hey, its not my servicew.

When you open the box, you get a cute welcome card, telling you about your box's contents.  I  love this, as it is a nice change to just straight info cards, and really ads a personal touch! I chose the Light Box, which is a healthy version.

Welcome to Graze! Here are a couple of things we’d like you to know: Graze is all about healthy snacking, so we think it’s best to keep your box close at hand. That way, you can beat those 3pm junk food cravings with a perfect portion of something that will taste good and do you good. As you snack, you can rate your favorite foods online. It only takes a few minutes and it’s the best way to make sure you get the boxes that are just right for you. Enjoy your first Graze Box.”

This is also a really customizable box.  There are over 90 snack choices, and you can go through and choose if you would like to try them or not, and after you've recieved your box, you can also say if you liked it or not.

This is what my box looked like-

Lightly Toasted Pistachios-"roasted pistachios with a touch of salt "- YUM! These were my favorite.  I LOVE pistachios, and they are SO expensive.

Tropical Daquiri-"pineapple, lime infused raisins and green mango"-No, just no.  I am not a dried fruit person. YUCK

The British Barbeque-"rosemary crostini, mini basil breadsticks, fiery seeds and smoked almonds"- I'll be perfectly honest, I gave this one away.  She liked it, just not for me

Rasberry and Coconut Muffin-"amaretti drops, raspberry infused cranberries, almond slices and coconut flakes"- Can I just get a whole box of these please?  This was my first thing to try, SO GOOD.  I had this for breakfast one more, and it was actually quite filling. Pretty Happy with it!

I would say at only $6 a box, this is a pretty stellar deal.  Even if I only ate two out of four choices,  That was still worth $3 a pop, when you think about how much snack sized foods costs.  I also don't have a microwave or fridge at work, so finding things I can take to eat at work are scarce.  I would just recommend putting the effort to go through and choose which ones you would like to try!

Coupon code time! NEWMRSSNACKS Use this for your first box free-Amazing news is you can also cancel at anytime!

Please let me know if you decide to check it out, and what you think!

REVIEW: Project Diy Subscription Box

Project DIY is a DIY craft subscription box, where they provide the materials needed to create your own jewelry and accessories.  Each month has a theme, the one I recieved was Joan of Arc.
I am not extremely crafty, but I was super happy with how the pieces turned out, I've even worn the necklace a few times!

This is the kind of packaging I long for! Companies, take note!  There is nothing better than product that comes in a nice, protective box.  I HATE envelopes, with a passion.
This was the inside of my box.  As you can see, there is a bracelet and a necklace to make.

Since this was my first month, I recieved a starter kit($20 value.)  You NEED these tools to do the projects, and they are wonderful quality.  I was super surprised with this addition!

This is what each little envelop looks like.  Each project comes in its own package, which is nice if you aren't doing them at the same time, also so you can keep track of what goes with what.
Here is the inside of the necklace package.  There was a bag with wire, and the necklace chain in it.  The other had the gems and rings.  My main complaint about this is that you have to download their app to get the instructions.  It is a smart marketing move, but a little annoying on the consumer end.
These were the items for the bracelet.  One other small complaint.  You used the glue on both projects, but you only got one syringe.  Again, what if I wanted to do them separately?  The gold cuff was a little snug on me, but it is also bendable.  I love that it came in this little pouch, so it didn't get scratched. Nice addition!
Here is my instagram photo of the finished projects.  It took me about 30 minutes to complete both, and I left them to dry overnight.  Both projects were pretty easy to complete.  The biggest thing was the tube beads on the sides of the necklace.  I am so proud of my jewelry! This is a GREAT gift idea!

The coupon code I have is PROJECT20.  You can recieve 20% off your first month's box!

Box was sent for review purposes.

REVIEW: ADORAtherapy Mood Boost™

Whenever Beautystat offered this product to me I was extremely intrigued.
It is a Mood Boosting Spray.  There is 7 different scents, I received "Smart."

Image property of Adoratherapy.com

""Smart" Gal on the Go Mood Boost™ depicted in yellow with top notes of Lemon & Grapefruit -- for the confidant, articulate problem solver!"

I LOVED the way this smelled.  I really liked to pair it with my 25:43 perfume from Lush Cosmetics.  My one complaint was that the scent didn't last enough for me.  I found myself reapplying rather quickly. I was also told that I would recieve a silver plated necklace with my product, but only recieved a rubber bracelet, that was a little disappointing.

As far as actually boosting my mood, I can't honestly say one way or another.  I'm not into all the crazy VooDoo, but I love aromatherapy.
Overall I would purchase this product,  I actually really want to try their other products!
They are also doing an Indie go-go campaign-where you can win some really amazing prizes! Check it out here http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/adoratherapy-mood-boosts
This product was originally being sold at Whole Foods, and was successful.  They are now rebranding their product line and establishing an online shopping destination at adoratherapy.com
This product was sent to me through my affiliation with Beautystat.com.  All opinions are my own, and I am not being paid for this review.

REVIEW: Murad's Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum

Whew! Isn't that a mouthful?

Rapid Age Spot & Pigment Lightening Serum
This product is called "the environmental shield."  It has 2% of Hydoquinone, which is the maximum level without a prescription.  It also has a lightening peptide, Hexapeptide-2, which helps correct existing damage, and help prevent future damage.

I have seen other reviews on this product, and most had better results.  I blame it on my sensitive skin.
I was SOOO excited whenever I first got this product.
I was DYING to try it, & even out my skin tone!

I was quickly disappointed.
I used the product for 4 days (it was recommended for 7-10) My skin could only make it through 4.  It worked fine the first 2 days.  I noticed some irritation on the 3rd night, but holy batman the 4th night sealed the deal.  I did my normal night routine (Lush products), and applied this product before my moisturizer.  As soon as the product hit my skin, instant burning.  I used Lush's 9 to 5 cleansing lotion to remove it, and soothe my skin.  My skin is now HORRIBLY broken out.  I haven't used the products in 4 days, and my skin is just now starting to clear up.  My skin is pretty sensitive, but acne and breakouts are not a usual issue for me.   I think the issue is that my skin can't handle the chemicals.  That's why I stick with Lush's skin care products.  I have found what works for my skin, and apparently can't steer away from that.  I will be passing this onto someone who has these issues, but not sensitive skin, and will update soon!

This product costs $60.00, and is available on Murad.com, sephora, ulta, and leading salon and spa locations.
