& the newest member of the Terry family is....

YAYYY!!!!!

We went and looked at this last night, and went to test drive it this morning & fell in love.  First of all, I have to say that GOD IS SOO GOOD!!!! Ask & he will provide!

It was a lot of stress, but on this day, 12/12/12 (of all days) Nick & I have officially purchased our first car together! Yippee!

Words of advice for any couples car shopping: take the time to be on the SAME PAGE.  Our salesmen was polite and stepped out the room, and gave us time to make the decision together! Now we get to cruise around in our new little go-kart!

It'll be interesting to see how Paisley reacts to riding around in it. He's going to miss the truck! We all will, but this is just another step in us building our lives together!

On the less positive note of it all, I am sick. Like SICK SICK.
This is my life right now

I barely slept a wink last night, so that brought on me almost falling asleep on the salesmen's desk. not to mention me trying to talk as little as possible..that ruins my filming plans for tomorrow. So thankful for the amazing people I work with to give me a Sick Day!

Happy 12/12/12 everyone!

Cars and Pleather

UGHHHH!!!!!
I needed to get that out.  Now I feel like I can function.

This was my outfit yesterday.  Little did I know when we took this pictures that things would be put into overdrive.  This was my work outfit, we took the pictures before we left.  Nick was taking me to work, then he was going to go start looking at cars.  Now for a quick backstory.  When we first moved here, we were in the market for a vehicle.  Worst came to worst and we just bought a clunker, thinking it would at least get us mobile for a few months......NOT
It broke down about 2-3 weeks later, and we basically got screwed out of 2,000$.  YAY..not.

We knew that this time around, we didn't want to rush into getting anything.  Nick had been having a few issues with his truck, but nothing major.

Well, yesterday we started our search. (More like Nick started looking while he sent me updates.)
We didn't find anything that we fell in love with, and figured we could go look on Thursday while I have the day off...Apparently Nick's truck had other plans.

This morning...
it.
wouldn't.
start.

It might have a mind of it's own, and realized it was on its way out.

Anyway, the Lord is good.  We went and saw a car tonight, and am going to apply for it in the morning. Fingers Crossed!

P.S. This skirt was SUCH A FIND. 8.98 Clearance at Target.  I couldn't get a decent picture of the detailing but there are little Hello Kitty symbols on it. So cute!

Dog Lovers Cravebox Review

Hey Y'all!

Here is our review on the Dog Lover's Cravebox review.

We were really impressed with this! It was a great value at only $12!
Unfortunately, paisley isn't old enough to have the rawhides, BUT he really enjoyed everything else.

I love these types of things! I love the surprise & excite of it each time.
Here is a list of everything that came in the box:
TropiClean Fresh Breath Gel- I don't really see any difference in tartar buildup or anything, but Paisley HATES this haha!
Fido's Cookies: Paisley LOVEDDDD this! It looked exactly like a human cookie, so cute!
Canine Caviar Buffalo Stix: Great treat! Would possibly purchase in the future. Nice alternative to rawhide
Scott Pet Pork Chomps: Unfortunately Paisley is too little for these :( but I hide them away for later!
Kong Chewy Treats: I find that Kong items just aren't at all worth the money, but these were nice little treats
Pet bowl Mat: Love this! It definitely does a great job, even with our fat baby who pushes his bowls around!

I have mixed reviews of Cravebox as a whole though.  After being so pleased with this one, I decided to order the Summer Beauty box & was EXTREMELY disappointed.
Look to my next post for that review :)

Husband/Boyfriend Tag!

Yes folks! I finally got Nick to agree to film with me! This was from about a week ago, but I am just not getting around to posting it.

Please feel free to post a video response/leave your answers in the comments!

Thank you for checking us out!

Pitiful little puppy of mine...

If we are friends on facebook, you know that we LOVE our little guy! My page is always spammed with pictures of him, but I just can't help it! He is so darn cute!
Here he is at about 9 weeks old when we first got him:

Paisley went to get neutured on Thursday morning at 7 A.M., and of course, I was in tears.  He had never been through anything like this before, so of course being the worrier I am, thought of the worst.

Nick said that as soon as he got on the leash with the Vet Tech he ran off and was absolutely fine. (Until she left him alone in the room to talk to Nick, that is.)
The day seemed to drag on and on, as we couldn't pick him up til about 4:30pm.
We had gone to lunch, done some grocery shopping, and run a ton of errands.  Finally the time came!!  We practically ran into the pet hospital to pick him up!  We first made sure to purchase a new toy & treat to help distract him from what was going on.

When we finally got to see him he was pitiful.  He looked so loopy, and you could tell he was just kind of out of it.  He even had a little bandage on his arm from getting his shots and bloodwork done. :(
I am just so happy with the treatment he got while he was there! He was following the vet tech like a little lost puppy (pun intended.)  He managed to go number 1 & 2 before we made it to the car! (and screw you to the jerk who wanted to yell at him for pooping in the parking lot...you could obviously tell he was sick & you are a jerk.)

This was his first time in the car, EVER.  Normally we just take him everywhere in the truck because he likes to stick his head out the window.  BUT it was extremely hot that day.  You can see him here with his NEW duck,  the original one is in the picture above.  He is a teething puppy and nearly all of his toys are getting destroyed.

The most eventful thing of all was definitely him used to the cone, which is still a work in progress.
He has a skinny neck with a long nose, so getting it to fit properly is a difficult task.  Also, its hard to have him running into everything.
I think he is getting used to it.  I think it's a mixture of everything that makes him have trouble getting comfortable & being able to sleep. He is extremely hyper and high energy, so getting him to calm down is like pulling teeth.  Luckily he sleeps a lot during the day, so of course that helps.
Here is the cone of shame-day 2.  Things are continuing to improve. We left him alone in his crate for about 30 minutes today to run down the road to grab something to eat, & it was successful.   He has trouble manuvering around in his crate with the cone on, but I think that is a blessing so he can't lick his wounds. Nick took another day off, and I have Sunday off so atleast someone will be home with him. I'll keep you updated!

Also, we feed him actually like twice what you should for a puppy his age, but he still seems a little underweight.  The vet says he is just high energy & high metabolism, and we should switch to a high-er fat puppy food to avoid him having to get prescription food.. Any ideas?

Welcome!

I guess I should start off with an introduction post.  Well, My name is Kaley. I'm 20 years old. My fiance' & I just relocated to Nashville, TN a few months ago, and are adjusting!  My Fiance's name is Nick & we've been together for almost a year now! This is just going to be a sneak peek into our everyday lives, I hope that I can share some and exchange some tips with y'all along the way!
